Fishing Pike Bags Trophy Fisherman In Moscow MOSCOW (Reuters) - Doctors had to pry the jaws of a bumper pike from the nose of a Russian angler after the fish took revenge for being caught by biting the man and hanging grimly on. The fisherman was showing off his catch to fellow anglers and pretended to flirt with it when the creature pounced, Itar-Tass news agency reported Monday from Karelia in the northwest. His friends hacked off the pike's body but it took doctors at a local hospital to complete the job and open the powerful jaws to free the chastened angler's bloodied nose. |
